About
I set up Red Pill Fit to be an easily accessible resource for health and exposing the lies in the wellness and health space.
I have 2 goals with this site:
- Boil health topics down to useful, applicable pieces you can start using NOW and get your health on track as soon as possible.
- To expose the corruption in the health space, the lies told by our government about “healthy eating patterns,” and the cronyism that props all of these systems up.
These health lies have been propped up by a system. This system is made up of people and organizations that have conflicting interests. 10 companies control almost our entire food system and government cronyism keeps it that way. Failed diet hypotheses keeps getting pushed because large pharmaceutical companies and massive food producers make too much money on the products they sell because of them. Because these theories are accepted as fact, research that supports them are the only studies that get any substantial funding. It’s a vicious circle that is killing the western world.
I’ve been into diet and health for about 10 years now. When you’re involved in something long enough, you start to notice emerging patterns. Some of them make a lot of sense and some can be quite puzzling. A lot of the modern diet/health picture that is pushed is full of half-truths and lies. Some of what is being said in the mainstream health space is “true,” but without further context, is essentially useless. The lies that are told in the health space are what got me to start Red Pill Fit.
The lies, e.g. the demonization of meat and animal fat, and the praise of seed oils and grains, really boil my blood. The half-truths, e.g. "calories are the only thing that matters" and "eat less move more," are frustrating more than anything and remind me of a great quote:
It's depressing when we simplify our message to the point where even a politician can understand it, ie to the point where it is no longer true. - Peter of Hyperlipid
The diet and health "experts" on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are useful idiots for the interests of large pharmaceutical companies, food manufacturers, and entrenched university elites. Diet, exercise, and general healthy living can be simple. How are humans supposed to eat? How are humans supposed to move (or, get exercise)? How are humans supposed to sleep? Etc... All these questions actually have relatively simple answers if you know how to look for them. (hint: what did our ancestors do?)
If you want to get started right away, you can go to the First Steps series where I lay the foundation for getting your health on track and living the way we are meant to: with energy, vitality, and looking good while doing it.
